Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Control Inspector to join our team at Capita. As a Building Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that buildings are designed and constructed in accordance with relevant building regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards
  • Review and assess building plans and designs to identify potential issues and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve building control issues
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on building control matters to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of building control legislation, guidance, and best practices
Requirements
  • Proven experience in building control inspection, general building surveying, design, project management, or other related fields
  • Strong knowledge of building control legislation, associated guidance, and issues relevant to the post
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
