MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to oversee operations at a high-traffic Distribution facility.
Shift Schedule: 4 on 4 off, with 12-hour shifts available during the day or night.
Shift Hours: 06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00
Compensation: £11.80 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reception duties, including badge issuance and area access management.
- Monitor alarms and conduct CCTV investigations.
- Manage the entry of visitors, staff, and contractors.
- Conduct internal and external patrols to ensure safety.
- Adhere to site procedures as outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and report incidents and accidents to the client.
- Oversee gatehouse operations, including verifying driver identification and inspecting vehicles.
- Conduct screening and searches as necessary.
- Rotate duties among officers on site.
Required Skills:
- Possession of a valid SIA guarding/Door Supervisor Licence (CCTV Licence is advantageous but not mandatory).
- A 5-year verifiable work/education history.
- Proficient computer skills with a solid understanding of various computer systems.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Capability to generate detailed incident reports.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A proactive and helpful attitude towards colleagues.
