About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planner to join our team at Azelis. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing and developing purchasing strategies across a defined principal portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement optimal stock management strategies to maximize network capital and costs of goods efficiency.
  • Manage demand planning for a defined principal portfolio, ensuring accurate forecasts and alignment with commercial and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with commercial assistants and supply chain administrators to ensure seamless communication and execution of procurement strategies.
  • Set up and maintain master planning data in ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Define and review principals' expectations and specifications through interaction with product managers.
  • Provide purchase forecasts to suppliers and ensure purchase orders align with forecasts.
  • Optimize stock rotation, limitation of impairment, and rationalization of logistics expenses.
  • Ensure best balance between margins maximization and DIO optimization.
  • Analyze sales and customer behavior, interacting with commercial assistants and product managers.
  • Generate and send replenishment reviews to supply chain administrators, collaborating to ensure goods receipt.
  • Analyze stock availability based on upstream and downstream information, opening SO and PO in ERP.
  • Support master planning process within AX to maximize stock availability, minimize lead times, and reduce net working capital.
  • Provide stock replenishment order reviews to the back office team.
  • Liaise with commercial assistants to ensure accuracy of sales forecasting.
  • Assist supply chain administrators, warehouse, and logistics functions for stock variance/discrepancies investigation, explanation, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in stock count and reconciliation procedures with the finance team.
  • Ensure new principal and product setup, identifying sample stock requirements.
  • Draw up yearly budget and KPIs, assessing results and taking corrective actions.
  • Master business-related IT tools (AX, BI, CRM).
  • Ensure conformity and contribute to sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with QA and SHE requirements, procedures, and working instructions.
  • Translate the Group's Sustainability Strategy into concrete job-related action items.
  • Contribute to continuous process optimization and excellent teamwork.
  • Join business reviews and share planning dashboard.
  • Ensure information flow to other team-members within the supply chain team.
  • Follow market trends, principal/ supplier organizations, product range specifications.
  • Follow principal supply behavior, detecting opportunities and developing operational relationships.
  • Constantly look for possible savings (financial, time, resources).

KPIs

  • Forecast accuracy of planned goods.
  • DIO per Department and per Supplier.
  • Coverage rate on Runner products.
  • Obsolete stock value.
  • Impairment value.
  • Exactness of replenishment reviews.
  • Relevance of purchase forecasts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience.
