Hospitality Assistant/Cook Job Description

Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Hospitality Assistant/Cook to join our client's team in Ryhill, Wakefield, WF4.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food from a basic bar menu
  • Provide exceptional customer service behind the bar, collecting glasses and maintaining a clean and tidy area
  • Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations
  • Support team members with cleaning duties before opening and throughout trading
  • Maintain legal and health & safety requirements
  • Comply with food hygiene standards
  • Complete relevant checks and maintain records
  • Operate a till and handle cash
  • Deliver excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Hospitality/Catering role, ideally in Food and Beverage
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking
  • Food Hygiene certificate (preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic culinary practices
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional and approachable demeanor
  • Passion for customer service
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
