Key Qualifications
Possession of a valid UK Driving License
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification

Role Objective
To oversee daily construction operations at various clean water storage reservoir locations.

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the effective execution of tasks under your management, adhering to the highest standards of health, safety, and quality.

You will also be accountable for meeting project timelines.
Role Overview
To guarantee that ongoing and upcoming work is strategically planned, with necessary resources (labor, equipment, and materials) readily available.

Facilitate comprehensive briefings, including start-of-shift meetings, method statements, risk assessments, and regular toolbox discussions that address relevant health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring your teams are well-informed.

Ensure that operations are conducted as outlined in the method statement, and verify that permits are secured and completed, along with necessary controls.
Interpret and apply engineering schematics effectively.
Ensure the safe storage, handling, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials in line with COSHH assessments.
Promptly report all health and safety incidents, including near misses and injuries, and assist in any subsequent investigations.
Adhere to environmental regulations and company protocols.

Monitor quality standards on-site to ensure a high caliber of work that meets specification requirements on the first attempt, thereby minimizing rework.

Perform any additional responsibilities relevant to this position.
