Our client, a reputable food production corporation located near Harrogate, is seeking a Site Accountant.
This organization is recognized for its exquisite range of high-quality products and operates a network of well-equipped manufacturing sites throughout the UK.
They are committed to excellence and equally value their workforce.
In light of their growth, they are looking to onboard a Site Accountant to enhance their Manufacturing Finance team, specifically for their Produce site.
In this role, reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the costings associated with the site’s products, implementing cost control strategies, and pinpointing areas for cost efficiency within the manufacturing operations.
Your responsibilities will include conducting financial analyses, such as variance assessments, to provide insights that enhance operational effectiveness. You will also deliver essential support to the site operations teams by offering financial and commercial insights.
This position will require you to work three days at the head office and one and a half days in a hybrid capacity.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as an accountant in a manufacturing setting, demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment, exhibit strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, and hold a relevant finance qualification such as CIMA or ACCA.
