Job Title: Roofers Mate

We are seeking a skilled Roofers Mate to join our team at Hamilton Woods. As a Roofers Mate, you will be responsible for assisting with various roofing tasks, including labouring and semi-skilled activities, repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out labouring and semi-skilled activities surrounding roofing and other trades as required
  • Assist with roofing work, including general repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment
  • Work on large-scale pitched roofs, flat roofs, and chimney stack demolitions
  • Assist with gutter and soffit works as needed
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Book follow-up works and order necessary materials
  • Utilize a PDA for task management
Requirements:
  • CSCS Card
  • Previous experience as a roofers mate (desirable)
  • Knowledge and experience of working at heights (essential)
