Position Overview: Resident Well-being Facilitator at Cedar Care Homes

As a Resident Well-being Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate positive interactions with residents and their families, ensuring that their social and recreational needs are fulfilled in accordance with personalized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
  • Tailor social and leisure activities to align with residents' individual preferences.
  • Motivate and guide staff to engage actively with residents.
  • Supervise a team of Hospitality Assistants or fellow Well-being Facilitators.
Required Experience

Ideal candidates will possess experience in:

  • Leadership in customer service environments.
  • Planning and executing events.
  • Providing care for the elderly or individuals with dementia.
  • Volunteering within the community.
Essential Skills and Competencies

Successful applicants will demonstrate:

  • Strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
