Job Title: QSR Cleaner

Reports directly to the General Manager.

Job Overview:

As a Cleaner in our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), you will be integral in upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards to ensure a pleasant dining experience for our patrons. Your responsibilities will include cleaning various areas of the establishment, such as dining spaces, kitchen areas, restrooms, and other assigned locations, adhering to established sanitation protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain and sanitise dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors, to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

· Ensure cleanliness and organisation in kitchen zones, including work surfaces, equipment, and floors, to comply with food safety regulations.

· Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, to provide a hygienic environment for customers and staff.

· Manage waste disposal by emptying bins and following designated recycling and rubbish management procedures.

· Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is necessary.

· Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in cleaning operations.

· Comply with health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a cleaning role within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not mandatory.

· Familiarity with sanitation and hygiene practices, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

· Ability to work independently and efficiently.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding cleanliness standards.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate as part of a team.

· Flexibility to work during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
