We are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a Bid Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality proposal documents that showcase our company's expertise and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and write winning proposal documents, including producing, coordinating, and editing written content
- Manage the submissions process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of proposals
- Collaborate with the bid team to gather technical information and compile high-quality bespoke solutions for clients
- Participate in storyboarding and development of strategic themes to enhance proposal content
- Ensure all proposals meet tender programme requirements and are of the highest quality
- Provide technical and commercial writing skills to support the bid team
- Assist in the development of bespoke proposals, best practice information, technique guides, template answers, and style sheets
- Build relationships with key business sector teams to ensure alignment with company goals
- Produce high-quality documents and submissions in line with identified deadlines
- Analyze and review previous submissions to implement learning in future bids
- Produce promotional and marketing materials, as well as award submissions
- Manage submission content as part of the wider bid process
- Assemble and shape construction information into compelling submissions
- Write and edit pre-qualification documents, capability statements, and expression of interest documents
- Liaise with the pre-construction team for technical content
- Create and edit presentations to support proposal submissions
- Capture and collate evidence to support submissions
Candidates should have previous experience in the construction industry, producing proposals and bids, and experience with frameworks would be an advantage. However, talented individuals from outside the construction industry are also encouraged to apply.
