Senior Building Services Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Services Surveyor to join our dynamic team at NHBC. As a Senior Building Services Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our building control services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess Building Control and warranty applications for residential developments and associated non-residential uses.
- Co-ordinate Building Control inspections, issue of Final Certificates, site and type approvals, and resolving problems relating to Initial Notices/Final certification.
- Support our Building Inspectors and Inspection Managers with expert advice, inspection of high-risk/complex elements or features of building work, the identification/communication of key inspection stages, and review of progress.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Building Regulations, building technology, and technical training.
- Experienced with structural defects and related claims, engineering, NHBC Standards, and site inspection.
- In-depth relevant building/construction experience with substantial knowledge of the housing and commercial sectors.
- An understanding of building pathology.
- Experienced in Building Control.
- A full Driving licence is required for this role.
