Job Title: Automotive Technician

Location: Weston-super-Mare

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30 and every other Saturday morning 08:00-13:00

Salary: Up to 40,000 Basic + Overtime

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our client's independent garage in Weston-super-Mare. The successful Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Automotive Technician Requirements:

  • You will need to have experience as an Automotive Technician and a relevant and up-to-date qualification.
  • You will be a person who takes great pride in your work.
  • You will have incredible attention to detail and an eye for spotting things others cannot.
  • You will need a full valid UK driving licence.
  • A stocked toolbox that you can use for work.
