Clinical Research Training Fellowships

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team as Clinical Research Training Fellows. These fellowships are designed for medically-qualified individuals who are undertaking their specialist training in any clinical discipline and wish to obtain a PhD with a view to an academic career in any branch of cancer research.

Eligibility

Eligibility to practice clinically within the UK is an essential qualification. The fellowships are available to individuals who are undertaking their specialist training in any clinical discipline.

Research Opportunities

Applicants will have the opportunity to work with our experienced research team and contribute to cutting-edge research in cancer science. The fellowships are available in member research groups of the CRUK Cambridge Centre.

Application Process

Applicants will choose their preferred projects (first and second choices) and short-listed candidates will be invited to interview. The interview will provide an opportunity for candidates to discuss their career intentions and preferred PhD project.

What We Offer

The fellowships are usually expected to start on 1 October 2025. The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance. This appointment requires an Honorary Clinical Contract.
