About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Systems Support professional to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our global supply chain team, you will be responsible for the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of our supply chain systems on various projects across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup: Collaborate with in-house IT teams to bring required systems online to meet project schedules and requirements.
  • Configuration: Assess project requirements and configure systems to deliver success on the project, identifying and addressing ad-hoc client needs and project risks.
  • Support: Provide day-to-day support and administration activities for internal and external users of the systems, including writing clear user guides and conducting training sessions.
  • Reporting: Work with projects to determine specific reporting requirements, developing and deploying live and interactive reports through SSRS and/or Power BI.
  • Functional Support/Development: Collaborate with in-house IT teams to define functional requirements for development/modification of internal systems to address project-specific requirements.
  • Interface Development: Identify scenarios where automated interfacing would be advantageous, particularly on EPC projects requiring large volumes of data exchange between parties.
  • Reporting Capability Advancement: Work with various teams to advance reporting capabilities, sourcing new data sets and implementing new measurement techniques.
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of IT technologies.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and understanding of Access or similar.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in systems support/implementation.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in business reporting and report writing credentials.
  • Technical expertise in at least 2 of the following: SSRS, Power BI, SQL (Oracle or MS SQL-Server).
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Ability to understand both the bigger picture and individual tasks.
  • Forward thinking, receptive to innovative ideas and suggestions, flexible, and able to look beyond the current way of doing things.
  • Ability to work across multiple initiatives adjusting to shifting priorities.
  • Dedicated team player and role model, capable of gaining trust and support of team and customers.
  • Proactive and able to work under own initiative.
  • Solid work ethic with attention to detail.
  • Organised – ability to plan, prioritise and delegate where required.
Qualifications/Certifications
  • BSc in related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Oracle and SQL Server Database technologies, including high proficiency in SQL.
  • Understanding of typical supply chain processes.
  • Proven experience working with data reporting tools, ideally MS SSRS or Power BI.
Desirable/Preferred
  • Background in Supply Chain would be advantageous.
  • Background in EPC project in the Energy sector.
