Job Title: Generator Service Engineer

**Job Summary:**

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled Generator Service Engineer to join our team. As a Generator Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing onsite customer support to our range of generator machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite customer support to our range of generator machinery within the region.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep the machinery in peak operating condition.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment.
  • Service equipment both on and off site.
  • Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Complete paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment.
  • Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards.
  • Present a professional image at all times.
  • Take responsibility for health and safety of self, colleagues, and customers in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years generator experience.
  • Knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels, and wiring diagrams.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude.
  • Diagnostic and leadership skills able to work in a team or alone.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Ability to service the range of plant-based machinery.
