About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Caretaker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the properties and surrounding areas we deliver a service to are clean, tidy, safe, secure, and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure shared areas are cleaned to a high standard, including sweeping of external areas, removing litter from communal gardens, and sweeping, washing, and disinfecting refuse areas.
  • Report and follow up on all communal repairs, and be the point of contact for contractors, developers, managing agents, local authorities, and emergency services on site.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including completing and submitting records/monitoring sheets and logs.
  • Provide high levels of customer service and work jointly with a second Mobile Caretaker to maintain 60 properties across the West London area.
Requirements
  • Experience of cleaning, caretaking, and building management, including the use of cleaning products and equipment, dealing with the public, and liaising with other organisations and contractors.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety practices and requirements in relation to cleaning, including COSHH and Manual Handling.
  • Basic gardening skills and ability to carry out basic DIY/maintenance tasks.
  • Able to lift and carry large/heavy items, climb stairs, and carry out physical tasks daily.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and a full UK driving license.
