We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Safeguarding and Welfare Advisor to join our team at The Bedford College Group. As a key member of our student support team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide impartial, pastoral advice to students and prospective students on safeguarding and welfare matters.
- Identify and alleviate safeguarding and welfare barriers to enable students to access education.
- Collaborate with staff and external agencies to provide support and guidance on child protection and vulnerable adults.
- Ensure excellent customer care for all learners and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate safeguarding records and contribute to the development of safeguarding policies.
- Work closely with internal and external support agencies to ensure effective student support.
- Embed the College's safeguarding culture and values in all aspects of the role.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with:
