Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer/Manager to join our dynamic operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing reliable and high-quality fire system commissioning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee fire system installation projects from design through to final handover, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Commissioning Services: Commission various fire and security systems, including emergency voice alarm communication systems, public address systems, audio induction loops, and Kentec fire panels.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of fire and security technicians, ensuring the department runs smoothly day-to-day.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the installation of fire and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire suppression systems.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding fire and security projects, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all fire and security systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Procurement: Procure necessary equipment, tools, and materials for installations and maintenance.
  • Project Planning: Plan and execute projects from initial design through to implementation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a multi-disciplined Fire Engineer, with a strong background in fire alarm systems.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including Gent, Advanced, Hochiki, and others.
  • Commissioning Experience: Commissioning experience is a significant advantage.
  • Travel Requirements: Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexible, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and health & safety trained.
