Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Service, diagnose, and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Stock Control and Parts Management: Operate stock control and manage the parts ordering process, ensuring that all necessary materials are available to support vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Ensure that the workshop and tools/equipment are maintained to a high standard, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Communication and Reporting: Accurately log all work items and purchase orders in our business management system, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a vehicle technician, with a strong background in motor vehicle technology and repair.
  • Qualifications: NVQ (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology Lvl3+ and/or MOT Tester qualification.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Tools and Equipment: Own tools to be stored in a secure tool box provided by the company.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Annual Holiday: 28 days.
  • Free Meal: Free meal for 2 with our partnered Restaurant (top 10 in London) for employee of the month.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 18:00.
  • Saturdays: Every other Saturday (extra weekday off in the week).
