Our ideal candidate will be an individual with a minimum of three years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably gained in sectors such as brewing, distilling, food production, pharmaceuticals, or the health and beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Design, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components for various applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating resources.
- Ensure that all electrical engineering projects and processes adhere to regulatory standards, quality assurance, and control measures.
- Develop and maintain existing engineering systems for increased efficiency and reliability.
- Provide hands-on electrical support and troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
- Prepare and interpret specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, HND, or HNC, preferably with membership in the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
- At least three years of experience in an electrical engineering role, preferably in hygienic process industries.
- Demonstrated experience with batch process engineering and understanding of associated control systems.
