Kenton Black Ltd is pleased to be working with a leading distillery in Inverness to find a skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in engineering.

Our ideal candidate will be an individual with a minimum of three years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably gained in sectors such as brewing, distilling, food production, pharmaceuticals, or the health and beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
  2. Design, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components for various applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  3. Manage projects from conception to completion, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating resources.
  4. Ensure that all electrical engineering projects and processes adhere to regulatory standards, quality assurance, and control measures.
  5. Develop and maintain existing engineering systems for increased efficiency and reliability.
  6. Provide hands-on electrical support and troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
  7. Prepare and interpret specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, HND, or HNC, preferably with membership in the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
  2. At least three years of experience in an electrical engineering role, preferably in hygienic process industries.
  3. Demonstrated experience with batch process engineering and understanding of associated control systems.
