Igloo is seeking skilled Vehicle Repair Specialists to become part of our client's workforce in Chelmsford on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidates will be representing a well-established organization that possesses the largest network of certified Vehicle Repair Specialists in the nation.


Job Responsibilities:
As a Vehicle Repair Specialist, you will perform repairs on a mobile basis, ensuring that a superior quality of service is delivered to customers consistently. The successful candidates will be accountable for, but not limited to, the following duties:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients.
  • Clearly explain the repair process to customers prior to commencement.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Process card payments efficiently.
  • Offer guidance and provide aftercare/insurance documentation.
  • Refurbish alloy wheels.
  • Conduct diamond cut and shadow chrome repairs.
  • Repair bumper corners.
  • Fix wing mirrors.
  • Restore painted trims.
  • Execute panel repairs – limited to two panels on one side.
  • Touch up chips on bonnets.
  • Repair door handles.
  • Report to the Technical Operations Manager.

Successful candidates will undergo two weeks of paid training in Rugby, Warwickshire, with accommodation provided.


Candidate Profile:

  • Candidates must demonstrate their expertise, understanding, and prior experience in a vehicle repair role.
  • A solid comprehension of all vehicle repair processes is essential.
  • Candidates should be diligent and dependable.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality finishes on the first attempt is crucial.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is required.
  • A valid category B driving license with no more than 6 points for minor infractions is necessary.
  • ATA or IMI accreditation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and time management skills are essential.
  • Candidates should be organized and detail-oriented.
