We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Paydens Group. As a vital member of our pharmacy operations, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists and delivering exceptional customer service.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the accurate dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, adhering to legal requirements and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring patients feel heard, supported, and valued in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of our pharmacy by maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.
  • Manage inventory by organizing, stocking, and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals.
  • Utilize computer systems for processing prescriptions, managing stock levels, and handling customer queries.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • A foundation of pharmacy knowledge, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to display warmth, empathy, and patience in a customer-facing role.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and safety in all pharmacy operations.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative work setting.
  • Computer literacy, with the ability to learn and utilize various pharmacy software systems.
  • Outstanding communication traits, with the ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
