About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND teacher to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a qualified educator with a minimum of two years' experience working in a SEND environment, you will be responsible for creating engaging lessons and simplifying complex concepts for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver inclusive educational experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our students
  • Monitor and evaluate the use of resources related to KS3 work
  • Support progress through effective planning, teaching, learning, and assessment
  • Teach a variety of subjects and skills to KS3 students to ensure a comprehensive curriculum

About Our School

Our school is an Independent SEMH Specialist Facility located in Lincoln, offering an alternative curriculum to young individuals with a range of SEMH special educational needs. We admit students with EHCPs and those who have faced or are at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream settings.
