Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Possession Planner to join our team at AmcoGiffen. As a key member of our rail engineering team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating access to our projects and frameworks.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in rail engineering and experience in access planning. You will work closely with our project management teams to ensure that access requests are submitted on time and that possession arrangements are planned and executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with project management teams to plan and coordinate access to projects and frameworks.
  • Work with our construction management and estimating teams to optimize project schedules.
  • Prepare possession schedules and supporting information.
  • Ensure possession requests are submitted in line with planning timescales.
  • Plan and coordinate possession arrangements.
  • Monitor possession planning changes.
  • Prepare safety documentation and attend possession meetings with clients.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in entitlement submissions and maintain relationships with planning team members.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Possession Planner in a rail environment.
  • Planning access experience.
  • SSOW planning qualification Core Level 2.
  • PTS certification.
  • Competent as Controller of Site Safety (COSS).
  • Understanding of Network Rail Rule Book.
  • British Driving License.
