Join Volvo Car UK as a MET Technician/Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MET Technician/Technician to join our team at Volvo Car UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test vehicles using measuring devices to provide accurate diagnostic reports to the Workshop Controller
  • Interpret and use technical data and instruction provided by the manufacturer
  • Conduct routine service work on vehicles brought into the workshop
  • Ensure any faults have been reported and noted on job cards and inform the Service Manager/Workshop Controller of any additional faults not covered in the scope of the repair and delay to completion
Requirements:
  • A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Tech savvy and confident using iPad software
  • MOT License would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered
