We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team at Bersted Green Surgery. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical guidelines and evidence-based practice.
- Assess the needs of patients and develop individualized treatment plans to promote health and wellbeing.
- Implement and evaluate health promotion and wellbeing programs to improve patient outcomes.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and prescribe medication as necessary.
- Co-ordinate the provision of travel medicine services and oversee the maintenance of accurate clinical records.
- Participate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care, and contribute to the development of nursing protocols and policies.
- Registered Nurse (Nursing and Midwifery Council) qualification.
- Experience of working in a primary care environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills, including wound care, ECGs, venepuncture, and immunisations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work outside of core office hours, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
