Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Class 2 drivers to become part of our team at our Avonmouth Depot. The role involves operating a skip lorry and servicing areas in and around Bristol.

Salary Range: £32,000 - £36,500

Key Responsibilities:
As part of your role, you will be eligible for a compliance bonus scheme. To excel in this position, you should be prepared to:

  • Deliver, collect, and exchange skips and hook bins.
  • Operate HGV refuse vehicles (RCVs) when necessary and perform collections of wheelie bins from commercial sites.
  • Conduct routine checks on vehicles.
  • Ensure loads are properly secured and positioned.
  • Maintain a detailed logbook of trips, including rest periods.
  • Possess a minimum of one year of HGV Class 2 driving experience.
  • Hold a valid DCPC and Category C driving license.
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and self-motivation.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Show capability and confidence in your driving skills.
