About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at smartDCS Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of management accounts across our divisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a small team of finance staff to produce regular management information to aid key decision-making
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy
  • Manage and comprehend the company's key financial metrics
  • Manage capital and prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and other financial reports
  • Develop and control the annual operating budget to ensure all financial targets are met
  • Oversee the finance system and ensure that adequate internal controls and checks are in place
  • Assist with planning, budgeting, and related analysis
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong grounding in accounting work and finance operations
  • Proven experience in improving and adding value in all areas of the business
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
