Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with management teams of investee companies, providing strategic insights, challenging existing strategies, and facilitating the execution of value enhancement plans. Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a business partner in a high-growth entrepreneurial setting focused on enhancing shareholder value.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, preferably with a CCAB qualification.
- Excellent communication and persuasion abilities, with experience in managing diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and resilient, with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, utilizing sound commercial judgment and a robust professional network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging proactively with portfolio companies, from high-potential growth firms to established SMEs, to drive shareholder value.
- Participating in board meetings of investee companies, providing strategic support and constructive feedback. Preparing investment committee documentation for follow-on funding or adjustments to terms, along with insightful performance reviews.
- Focusing on value creation from investments, while also prioritizing hands-on support for portfolio companies needing direct guidance, which may include restructuring, M&A support, and exit strategy development.
