About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Reporting System Analyst to join our team at Iconic Resourcing. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and administering the IBM Planning Analytics system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Accuracy and Integrity: Ensure the ongoing functionality and performance of the IBM Analytics Suite, guaranteeing accurate and consistent data across all financial reports.
  • System Development and Rollout: Collaborate with the Data & MI Manager to create new features and improve the IBM Planning Analytics system, providing rollout to the rest of the business.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Work closely with business partners to build and refine financial reports that meet stakeholders' needs, providing technical support and training to help users across departments effectively use the system.
  • Integration and Support: Help integrate IBM Planning Analytics with other business systems to simplify reporting, ensuring seamless data exchange and minimizing errors.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budget holders with their budgeting and forecasting activities from a data and analytics perspective, providing expert guidance and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to users across departments, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively use the system and extract valuable insights from data.
  • System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical issues with the IBM Analytics Suite, ensuring the system remains stable and performs optimally.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A finance background with experience in a Finance Analyst role, preferably with systems implementation or maintenance experience.
  • A strong data analysis background, with the ability to analyze complex data and communicate outcomes to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet multiple deadlines with competing priorities.
  • Previous experience with IBM Planning Analytics (previously known as TM1) would be highly beneficial but not required.
