About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Broughton House, a specialist residential service for adults with severe learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, promoting their independence, and enabling them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to service users, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs and preferences.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support service users to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being, such as exercise, hobbies, and social events.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that service users' needs are met and their goals are achieved.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a care or support role, preferably in a residential setting.

  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
