The successful candidate will have a strong background in SAP Finance Module, experience in implementing technical requirements, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical SAP support and guidance to the finance team, focusing on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Lead SoX and financial audit-related activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate waste, simplify processes, and implement fixes within SAP FICO.
  • Review existing designs for critical and major processes, including interfaces to other systems.
  • Collaborate with internal controllership teams and business teams to develop remediation plans for defects.
  • Support discussions with internal and external audit teams, providing data extracts and artifacts as needed.
  • Deliver projects on time and on budget, ensuring high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, with substantial technical experience in the SAP Finance Module.
  • Experience working in a multinational business, including US GAAP and SoX.
  • Prior experience in SOD removal and providing best practices for finance function alignment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate finance team requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience implementing technical requirements in SAP, working with ABAP teams for customisation efforts.
  • Experience with user access, roles, and responsibilities management in SAP FI.
  • Prior experience working with auditors, internal and external, on SAP financial controls and best practices.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Desired Characteristics
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, etc.).
  • Previous experience in an audit role, post, or qualification.
  • Knowledge of best practice governance, risk management, and compliance in a large enterprise.
  • Good understanding of SoX controls.
  • Experience with IT governance, IT risk, IT audit, IT operations, or related fields.
