Our client, a reputable housing association, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to support their Asset Management Programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 800 properties in the Tower Hamlets area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake Stock Condition Surveys on a regular basis.
- Lead on Capital Works projects, including refurbishments of internal and external domestic properties.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety legislative practice applicable to Social Housing properties.
- Manage a range of external contractors on site.
- Liaise with tenants and contractors to ensure works are completed to specified time frames.
Requirements:
- Experience in Property Management and Maintenance.
- Understanding of current health and safety and housing legislation.
- Good telephone manner and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of the local area is beneficial.
- Full UK driving licence.

- 25 days a year holiday rising to 28 after 3 years' service.
