Due to their growing order book, our client is seeking to expand their team in the Estimating Department. As a Senior Sales Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of projects by providing accurate cost estimates, collaborating with architects and clients, and ensuring seamless project handovers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the company's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for restoration and new build projects
  • Analyse project drawings and specifications to determine material requirements and quantities
  • Conduct site and client visits to gather necessary information for cost estimates
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure effective project delivery
  • Ensure estimates are in line with surveyors' take-offs
  • Report to the Sales Director and work closely with the Contracts Director and Production Team to ensure a smooth project handover
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a surveyor or estimator in the construction and restoration sector
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
