Counsellor - Relief

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team on a relief basis, providing therapeutic support to individuals in our Bluebell Perinatal Service. As a Counsellor, you will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality counselling services to clients, supporting them through challenging times.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to clients, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our therapeutic services, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients.
- Participate in regular supervision and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Counselling or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working in a counselling or therapeutic setting, preferably in a perinatal or mental health context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
