Job Title: Primary Teacher (Early Years Foundation Stage)

Location: Welshpool, Powys

Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons across EYFS and KS1, catering to diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS and KS1, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Provide constructive and guided feedback to students, both written and verbal.
  • Teach all areas of the school curriculum effectively, adapting to the needs of individual students.
  • Organize the classroom and learning resources to maintain a positive teaching environment.
  • Occasionally plan and prepare lessons to engage students effectively.
  • Maintain discipline and implement behaviour management strategies.
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Registered with the EWC (Educational Workforce Council).
  • Possess an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS that is on the Update Service.
  • Demonstrate excellent curriculum knowledge.
  • Collaborate effectively and creatively with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work either full-time or part-time would be advantageous.
