Neurological Physiotherapist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly experienced team of specialist Neurological Clinicians in the Hertfordshire Community Neuro Service. As a Band 5/6 Community Rehab Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for managing a Physiotherapy caseload and providing specialized assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions, including stroke and other complex conditions.
- Work as a member of the Hertfordshire Community Neuro Team, specializing in the treatment and management of patients with complex neurological conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using evidence-informed practice and treatment options.
- Assess and manage clinical risk within your patient caseload.
- Represent physiotherapy service and/or individual patients at multi-disciplinary team meetings.
- Ensure the delivery of a coordinated multidisciplinary service and integrate physiotherapy treatment into the treatment programme.
- Physiotherapy degree or equivalent.
- HPC registration.
- Experience of working with neurological patients in a community or inpatient setting at Band 5 level.
- Documented evidence of professional development and reflective practice in relevant aspects of neurological rehabilitation.
- Attendance at relevant post-graduate neurological training courses.
- Physical skills, dexterity, coordination, and sensory skills for assessment and manual treatment of patients.
- Ability to demonstrate clinical problem-solving in complex cases.
- Ability to prioritize patient workload.
- Ability to carry out patient manual handling tasks.
