About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Companion to join our team at Be Caring. As a Care Companion, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in the Sheffield area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized care and support to clients, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support clients in achieving their goals and outcomes, while promoting community engagement and social connections.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues, documenting and reporting relevant information as needed.
- Previous experience in care and support, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a car (for drivers).
- Competitive hourly rate (£p/hr for drivers).
- Shift pay structure, allowing for flexibility and autonomy.
- Mileage reimbursement (45p per mile for drivers).
