Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our staff, you will provide essential support to teachers and students in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities to students
  • Support classroom management and maintain a safe and organized learning environment
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, promoting their academic and personal development
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Supervise students during breaks and outings, ensuring their safety and well-being
Requirements
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
Working Conditions

This role involves working in a classroom setting, assisting teachers and students. It may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of materials. The working hours are typically during school hours, Monday to Friday.
