Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team on a casual/ad-hoc basis. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to and from various businesses, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and collect goods to and from various businesses
- Ensure timely and efficient transportation
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring load security
- Deal with customers face-to-face and over the phone
- Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and manage customer expectations
- Attend regular training sessions
Requirements:
- Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Working to deadlines
- Confident, polite, and a team player
- Good geographical knowledge
