Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Community Care team. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting and leading a team of Community Care Drivers to deliver exceptional patient care and transport services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Performance and Service Delivery: Ensure the prompt departure of Community Care Assistants from base, delivering excellent customer service and meeting performance targets.
  • Compliance: Assist the Compliance Team with daily, weekly, and monthly Health and Safety base checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Fleet Management: Liaise with the Fleet supervisor to ensure vehicles are suitable for road use and undertake vehicle checks to maintain optimal performance and hygiene.
  • Data Management: Ensure personal data management systems are up-to-date with accurate employee details to support payroll and annual leave management.
  • KPIs: Support the Contract Manager in delivering KPIs, providing innovative ideas for improvement and contributing to the effective management of resources.
  • People Management: Conduct probationary reviews with Community Care Assistants, ensuring adherence to Company policy and providing employee relations support.
  • Recruitment: Participate in recruitment and selection processes, ensuring personal adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Training: Deliver Annual Skills Development training and conduct driving assessments as required, ensuring all areas of the contract deliver excellent patient service.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year recent management/supervisor experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meticulously organized with a proven track record of successfully reaching deadlines.
  • A full valid UK driving license, with less than 3 penalty points.
