Job Opportunity: Power Electronics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. This role will be based in Wales and will involve working within the Motor Control and Drive Design department, where the main objectives are to design, create, and improve new drives and controllers for the industrial automation markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Designing and developing new power electronic systems and components
  2. Creating detailed product documentation and conducting design reviews
  3. Collaborating with the team to achieve project goals and deadlines
  4. Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  5. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of power electronic devices, topologies, and control systems
  • Experience with simulation tools, modelling, testing, and application of high power semiconductor and passive components
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
