Trainee Project Coordinator

About the Position: Galliford Try, a leading construction company, offers a unique opportunity to launch your career as an Apprentice Planner. This role is part of our award-winning Trainee Programme, designed to provide hands-on experience, technical skills development, and academic qualification attainment while working alongside industry experts.
This apprenticeship combines theoretical knowledge with practical work, allowing you to contribute value to society and grow professionally and personally. Our structured development programme consists of five modules, running parallel to your job, focusing on enhancing your interpersonal and leadership abilities alongside technical expertise.
We fully sponsor your academic qualification tailored to your role, academic level, and aspirations, offering apprenticeships and various qualifications at different levels.
This full-time Apprentice Planner role covers projects in the East Midlands and East of England, with a focus on Cambridgeshire for an extended period.
Key Responsibilities:- Gain insight into Project Management, Logistics, and Sequencing
- Monitor progress on projects utilizing Asta Powerproject and SiteProgress mobile app
- Update trackers and explore new software tools
- Assist in tender programs and manage inquiries for temporary services
- Interpret programs and create phasing drawings
- Visit sites to assess conditions for preparing tender programs
- Liaise with key stakeholders to establish optimal programs
- Support in producing As-Built records and construction methodology documents
- Develop an understanding of Preliminaries Assessment and Information Management systems
