The Role

We're looking for a skilled Bus Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and carrying out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement.
  • Diagnosing vehicle faults and specifying the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
  • Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using handheld data capture devices.
  • Attending on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries.
  • Carrying out vehicle road testing to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent.
  • The ability to multi-skill within an engineering environment.
  • A flexible approach to working hours.
  • A PCV licence is desirable, but the ability to obtain one is essential.
  • Experience working with buses and coaches is an advantage.
