We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Health team at HMP Five Wells. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality psychological care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the IMHT with assessment and interventions for complex patients
  • Offer consultation/reflective practice to the team and clinical supervision to the assistant psychologists
  • Undertake psychological assessments and deliver psychological interventions for cases of great complexity
  • Utilize research skills for audit, policy, and service development and research within the area served by the team/service

Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of a British Psychological Society accredited Doctoral Level postgraduate professional training course in clinical psychology
  • Assessed experience of working as a qualified clinical/forensic/counselling psychologist for a minimum of 3 years post qualification
  • Experience of highly specialist psychological assessment and individual and group-based treatment of clients across the full range of care settings
