About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our Assessment Service in Barking and Dagenham. As a Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving excellent social work practice and making a positive difference to children, young people, and their families in our community.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver services to children and young people through the operational management and supervision of social work teams.
- Work with MASH colleagues and manage case allocations, having casework oversight including auditing of cases.
- Offer reflective supervision and support the progress and professional development of each member of your team.
- Demonstrate sound safeguarding knowledge and excellent social work practice.

Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience managing an assessment team.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to incorporate the Strengthening Families Model in your management role.
- Current SW England registration.
