Key Locations:
- Midlands and South: Based in or around Breedon on the Hill
- Yorkshire and Lincs: Based in Rotherham
To excel in this role, you should be known for your pride in your work. Collaborating with a team of skilled technicians, your duties will include executing tasks as directed by the Foreperson and assisting experienced team members in their responsibilities. It is vital to uphold professional work standards and comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Reporting any accidents, incidents, near misses, issues, or concerns is of utmost importance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Carry out tasks as instructed by the Foreperson, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Operate and maintain all equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is kept in optimal condition.
- Guide and support less experienced team members.
- Adhere to professional working practices and safety protocols.
- Report all accidents, incidents, and any quality or safety concerns.
- CSCS card and driving license preferred but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Strong interest in the construction materials sector and heavy machinery operations.
- A commitment to learning and advancing within the industry, with a focus on safety and quality.
