Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Plumbing Apprentice to join our team at Orwell Housing Association. As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in plumbing, while also studying for a recognized qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day work of the Multiskilled team, including assisting in the prioritization of repairs and ensuring works orders are completed within specified timescales.
  • Study for a recognized qualification in plumbing, with the support of Suffolk New College.
  • Develop a broad set of skills, including the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
  • Liaise daily with the logistics team to ensure diary commitments are met.
  • Actively engage in learning and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role.
  • Good communication skills, including verbal and written, are required.
