About the Role

We are currently looking to speak with Machine Learning Scientists who have prior experience or a passion for the latest advancements within Biology. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone fresh out of a PhD or looking to take their career to the next level by working at the forefront of AI within Life sciences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply innovative research on Bayesian experimental design to optimize biological sequences through multiple rounds of experimentation.
  • Contribute to team research and publish results at leading journal and conference venues.
  • Report and present experimental results and research findings, both internally and externally, verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborate internally with your colleagues/team members and externally with global industry leaders to meet research goals.

Requirements

  • Ms or PhD in Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning or a related scientific field.
  • Practical knowledge of modern deep learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Bayesian optimization, and reinforcement learning.
  • Hands-on experience with Deep Learning Frameworks i.e. Pytorch or Tensorflow.
  • Software development skills in Python.
