Warehouse Associate

We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Warehouse Operative for our esteemed client, a leading global food production company.

The facility specializes in the production of deli sandwich wraps, an assortment of ready-to-eat salad products, various sauces and dips, as well as soups.

• Day shifts are compensated at £11.96 per hour
• Night shifts are compensated at £14.95 per hour

This is a full-time position offering flexible rotating day shifts or fixed night shifts, with a schedule of 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis.

The shift patterns include:

• One week from 6am to 2pm
• The following week from 2pm to 10pm
• Fixed night shifts from 10pm to 6am

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be tasked with meeting individual targets for picking and packing items during each shift.

Comprehensive training will be provided on the software systems utilized at the site, as well as on any mechanical aids necessary for the efficient movement of stock within the warehouse.

The working environment is chilled, and while mechanical aids are available to assist with item movement, you must be capable of picking items quickly, lifting product cases weighing up to 20kg, and meeting the required picking targets.

The perfect candidate for this role will possess the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English at ESOL Level 3. Proficiency in counting and basic multiplication is essential.
